What is 4-H County Activity Day? This is our 4-H presentation program where youth are able to learn about a new topic, develop a presentation, and utilize public speaking skills at the County, District, and sometimes state-level competitions.

This is a great way for our youth to develop effective communication skills and techniques provide them with skills that will last a lifetime. Presentations also allow 4-Hers to explore an area that is of interest to them. I will be happy to help anyone decide on a topic, develop their presentation, and help with getting you ready for presentations!

County Activity Day(s) will be held by appointment beginning May 12 – May 20, 2025.  

District Activity Day will be held June 21st @ A&T State University in Greensboro.

The competition is open to youth ages 8-18, where they will deliver a 5-12 minute presentation on a topic of their choice. Youth ages 5-7 can also participate by presenting in the Cloverbud division (non-competitive). Your 4-H age is your age as of Jan 1, 2025. Winners at County level will proceed on to District Competition on June 21, 2025. The gold and silver winners in Junior & Senior divisions at District Activity Day are invited to compete at the state level July 21 @ NC 4-H Congress.
