The Alleghany Farmers Market will be hosting it's 5th Annual HOLIDAY MARKET on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Crouse Park (East Whitehead Street, market location) in Sparta, NC.

ALLEGHANY FARMERS MARKET Holiday Market 2024
This is a non-juried art, craft & food market, and all items MUST be handmade by the vendor. ALL products must adhere to the following guidelines:
ALL value-added processed and prepared food items must be made in an NCDA or health-department inspected kitchen (home or commercial), depending on theproduct. A copy of the NCDA&CS process inspection or health department permitting paperwork is required.
Craftspeople of non-agricultural products at the Market include handcrafted goods from raw products and materials (such as pottery, furniture, soap/body products, etc). To be considered handcrafted, items must show evidence of manual skills obtainable through a significant period of experience and dedication, as well as show originality of design. Vendors are not allowed to sell flea-market type items or mass-manufactured resell items.
Applications must be submitted no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024. Drop off completed application at N.C. Cooperative Extension at 90 South Main Street, Sparta, NC, or send by mail to:
