Alleghany Farmers Market - 2025 Season - Application Period Open for New & Returning Vendors!

The Alleghany Farmers Market 2025 Season begins on Saturday, May 3rd, and runs through the end of October.

Applications are now open for new and returning vendors.  Please review the Policies & Procedures prior to applying.  If you are a new vendor interested in selling food or value-added farm products, an NCDA process inspection (or Health Department permit, depending on what you are selling) is required.

Paper copies can be picked up at the N.C. Cooperative Extension office in Alleghany at 90 South Main Street in Sparta (3rd floor) beginning March 4th, or fill out and return via mail to:  Jill Cockerham, N.C. Cooperative Extension, PO Box 7, Sparta, NC 28675
