The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), is offering the AgDiscovery 2024 program, a no-cost unique summer outreach experience for middle and high school students. This program will be held at North Carolina State University (NCSU) from June 17 to June 28.
AgDiscovery 2024 provides an exceptional chance for students to immerse themselves in the world of agricultural sciences. They will live on the college campus in dorms and gain first-hand insights into the diverse career paths available in this field.
Youth will be able to participate in hands-on field and laboratory research activities guided by university professors and practicing professionals, including entomologists, botanists, plant pathologists, and veterinarians.
The Science House at NC State facilitates this program, ensuring a well-organized and enriching experience for the participants.
The application submission deadline for AgDiscovery 2024 is April 5, 2024, at midnight Eastern Standard Time. Successful applicants will be notified by the university, while non-selected applicants will receive a letter in the mail.
