The Alleghany Farmers Market will open for the 2026 market season on Saturday, May 9, 2026.  Conveniently located at Crouse Park in downtown Sparta, NC, the market will be open every Saturday through the end of October, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.  We will offer a wide variety of locally-grown, seasonal produce; meat, eggs and dairy items; bath and body products; baked goods; and artisan-produced crafts and handmade items.

Please check out the Alleghany Farmers Market Facebook page for updated information, or add your name to the customer list (see contact info below).  In addition to our weekly market vendors, there are some items available for purchase from the market store, such as goat cheese, fermented/probiotic products and other items that aren't regularly offered through market vendors, open every Saturday during regular market hours.
