Join us for a day of learning beginning beekeeping and next steps in having and managing your own hive!

Class will be led by the Alleghany Beekeepers Association Members.

Open to youth 10+. Parent or guardian attendance is encouraged, but not required. Spaces are limited! There is no cost to attend.

Meet at the Alleghany Extension Office (90 S. Main Street) at 9:30 a.m. Learn about bees, beekeeping, equipment and more from 9:30-12 and visit an apiary from 1-3:30 for hands on experience. We will break for lunch on your own from 12-1.
