VLA Conference Flyer 2021

North Carolina 4-H Volunteer Leaders Conference is right around the corner. This event will be held February 5–6, 2021, over Zoom. Many people have worked very hard to put together an event that still has many of the traditional components of the Conference we all look forward to being part of. I encourage you to not only register yourself but also to register 4-H volunteers in your county.

The cost to attend Volunteer Leaders’ Conference 2021 is $30 and to be guaranteed a conference packet, your registration must be entered by January 8. Registration will remain open through January 27; however, those who register after the initial deadline of January 8 will most likely not receive a conference packet or Friday night pre-conference supplies. Make sure to have as many people registered by January 8 as possible.

The conference agenda can be found online. This document is being updated as we get more information, so please be sure to check often to see the latest related to Volunteer Leaders’ Conference 2021. When you look at the workshop selection, you will see that we have some great workshop choices each session. You do not have to pre-register for a workshop on Saturday. You can attend whichever workshop you would like to on Saturday, February 6. Links to all sessions will be shared with registered conference participants the week of the conference. In addition, it is our hope (fingers crossed) that all sessions will be able to be recorded, transcribed, and put in a Google Folder so that conference participants can have access to go back and watch any sessions they might not have been able to participate in.

For the Friday night “Experience 4-H Curriculum” session, you will need to pre-register for this session. We have four great options and information on each of these sessions can be found on the conference agenda. If a workshop has supplies to send you for the Friday night session, if you register by January 8, those supplies will be mailed to you.

To register please contact Amy at amy_lucas@ncsu.edu or 336-372-5597.
