What is 4-H County Activity Day? This is our 4-H presentation program where youth are able to learn about a new topic, develop a presentation, and utilize public speaking skills at the County, District, and sometimes state-level competitions. This is a great way for our youth to develop effective communication skills and techniques provide them with skills that will last a lifetime. Presentations also allow 4-Hers to explore an area that is of interest to them. I will be happy to help anyone decide on a topic, develop their presentation, and help with their recordings.

Youth presenting
This year we are BACK IN PERSON. County Activity Day(s) will be held by appointment beginning May 18 – May 26. District Activity Day will be held June 17 in Wilkes County.

The competition is open to youth ages 8-18, where they will deliver a 5-12 minute presentation on a topic of their choice. Youth ages 5-7 can also participate by presenting in the Cloverbud division (non-competitive). Your 4-H age is what you are as of Jan 1, 2022.

Winners at County level will proceed on to District Competition on June 17, 2022. The winners at District Activity Day are invited to compete at the state level July 16 @ NC State.
